DevLog 13 - Multiplayer Progress

After last week's debacle with Multiplayer, this week has gone A LOT better. A big lesson learned on getting it all working and how to appropriately test stuff as we go. We've managed to recuperate the progress that we lost last week, and then some.

Running, Shooting, Killin' and Dyin', and Abilities all work once again. On top of that, we now have Capture Points, team Tickets, a new Scoreboard and Killfeed all working too!

The Scoreboard, pictured above.

The Killfeed, pictured above (featuring grammatical error, can you spot it?).

We've also moved to using different tree and grass assets for making maps.

We're getting closer and closer to releasing a prototype for everyone to play together.

i cant wait,  i got this ga,e yesterday, thinking it was already multiplayer, but its not, and theres only 2 maps. So when i saw that it was way less than what i was expecting i was bit dissapointed, and got worried this was abandoned or moved to steam, but no, and im happy its still in development. Keep up the great work!

Yes, very much still in development.  We hope to have a multiplayer sample for players to try out very soon.  And, for a Kickstarter campaign starting on 1 June, we will have a very early release on Steam.  Thank you for your encouraging comment, and we hope you will continue to support our efforts!
