Multiplayer, now with a Map
In responding to a comment from last weekend, that has unfortunately disappeared, we have turned the plain Jane geometry map we released last week into something more pretty and substantial. It's still functionally the same, but now it looks good too (we hope). Also, the same comment let us know that diagonal movement was too quick and they were indeed right (schoolboy error), so we fixed that too. Thank you to that commenter, and to anyone in the future who lets us know what we can do better.
Along with that we have changed server set-up to include controlling the number of Tickets that the teams have to themselves so you can control the length of your matches more easily, and we have also removed the naming of servers to instead just show who is hosting.
With regard to servers, it is possible for servers to stay on the list after they have been shut down. We do not know what causes this yet but we will endeavour to fix it. In the meantime, if you see a server and cannot connect to it, we are sorry; we are trying to fix this.
Not ready for releasing yet, but we have also begun work on getting vehicles back into the game for multiplayer.
